PROSPECTIVE SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS

The Common Scholarship Application (CSA), as a subsidiary of the Common Black College Application (CBCA), serves to simplify the process of applying for scholarships. By consolidating the application process for numerous scholarships into a single platform, the CSA addresses concerns voiced by parents, students, and scholarship providers. This streamlined approach helps students, especially those from underrepresented communities, access a wider array of financial opportunities to support their higher education goals.

HERE ARE SOME KEY FEATURES ABOUT THE CSA

Centralized Platform: Instead of filling out multiple scholarship applications, students can use the CSA to apply for numerous scholarships with a single submission.

Increased Access: The CSA allows students from all over the world, particularly those from Black and underserved communities, to connect with scholarships that might otherwise be difficult to find or apply for.

Simplification of the Process: With the concerns of parents and students in mind, the CSA reduces the time and effort involved in applying for different scholarships, which can be a significant burden.

Wide Reach: With over 400,000 students globally completing the CBCA, the CSA provides an effective and efficient pathway for students to access financial resources for college education.

The CSA is a valuable tool for students who are navigating the often complex and time-consuming scholarship application process, offering a one-stop platform to enhance their chances of securing the financial aid they need. Please note, there is a modest cost of $5 a year to have a CSA Account.

The subscription you select will determine your level of access to students in the CSA database. Subscription options range from free to $15.99 per month.
Please note: Scholarship Providers will only be able to view student profiles—including applications and documents—when students grant explicit permission.

AUTOMATE APPLICATION PROCESS

The subscription you select also determines the automated features that are made available to you t0 process student applications.

TRACK STUDENT DATA

The ability to track and manage student data is critical when attempting to measure organizational success and provided reports to funders. Our Premium Subscription that is only $15.99 a month allows you full access to applications and documents of those students that have given permission for you to view their profile.
